The tribe
Creating Ulu Tribe is a tale of love, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit. Armi, a native of Uluwatu, Bali, and a musician, envisioned a space where he could perform and immerse others in the rich history of Balinese culture. Ulu Garden, the initial seed from which Ulu Tribe sprouted, found its roots in a serene oasis away from the hustle of the main road, designed to be a restaurant and a stage for live music performances.

Virginie, Armi’s partner, on holiday from Belgium, was charmed by the contrast between the tranquility of Bali and her bustling life as a hospitality entrepreneur in Bali. Her encounter with Armi and his vision led to a partnership driven by a shared desire for a life more in sync with one's soul. Together, they set out to build a place for cultural sharing, based on connecting people, honoring traditions, and shared growth.
